This is a planning range, not carrier rates or a booked quote. Your actual price can fall outside the range.
Based on: Open transport; car can be driven for loading; Other months: March–April and August–October.
Estimated road distance: about miles.
We estimate road miles from the distance between ZIP areas. This is not a mapped driving route or an address-to-address distance.
Based on past shipping orders
The cost formula uses 2,266 Ship A Car orders for one vehicle, dispatched or delivered from November 2024 through October 2026. The base range uses open transport for cars that could be driven for loading.
The low and high ends are based on the 20th and 80th percentiles of customer prices by road miles. That means roughly 2 in 10 past prices were below the low end and 2 in 10 were above the high end. About 6 in 10 fell inside. This does not promise the same result for your trip.
The formula adjusts that base range for your selections:
- Enclosed transport: about 15%–30% higher.
- A car that cannot be driven for loading: an added $150–$350 before the season adjustment.
- May–July: about 3%–10% higher.
- November–February: about 3%–12% lower.
These past orders were used to set the cost formula. They were not used to check the pickup or transit time estimates.

Rough timing for planning
This is a rough planning window, not a scheduled pickup. Confirm the pickup dates when arranging transport.
Pickup and transit times are rough estimates. They have not been checked against the past orders used for the cost formula. Dates can change with the route, weather and available transport. Neither range is a promise.
Exact locations, vehicle size, modifications, loading needs, weather and available transport can change the price and timing.

What this estimate assumes
Shipping is one part of the full cost. Compare the car price, lease terms, taxes and fees too. This estimate alone does not show whether a distant offer costs less than a local one.
